The Skills Exchange Network is a management and leadership development organisation set up by Hamish Taylor. It encourages breakthroughs in people, process and/or product by looking outside the current environment to other industries, skills or disciplines.

All Skills Exchange programmes run on three Core Principles:

• Barriers to learning are removed by looking at centres of excellence which lie outside the participants' current work environment.
• A focus on "how to do it" (rather than "what to do") is ensured by exposing participants to practising experts in the field from which the skill is being developed.
• Follow through is ensured by leaving participants with at least 2-3 simple tools that they can begin to use immediately.
